Scholarships

Proceeds from our fundraising efforts have also enabled RWA to award a scholarships of up to $2000 annually to local women who are beginning or continuing their education.

We have an application process  that begins in the spring, and applicants must be local or be sponsored by an RWA participant.

Core Charities

We contribute money from our fundraising efforts annually to our five core charities:

  • Oakmont Carnegie Library
  • Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department
  • Verona Volunteer Fire Departments
  • Riverview Community Action Corporation
  • Oakmont Recreation Board

The women of  RWA have multiple opportunities to give back to our local community through various service projects and charitable contributions. Some individuals in our group also often choose to volunteer directly with other local service organizations including Meals on Wheels and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
